This onsite role requires living within 50 miles of the office and working 4 days per week. You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The team emphasizes customer experience, reliability and ongoing improvement in network delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Comcast may consider related coursework or experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering or networking.
• Engineering job family group alignment.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Universal Customer Premise Equipment and updating inventory management with IP assignments and CLLI codes for network services
• Provisioning and configuring network services on the SDN platform, including Firewall, NAT/PAT, QoS, and BGP
• Creating complete Bill of Materials for site hardware, ensuring compatibility with service configurations to fulfill customer requirements
• Collaborating with Customer Project Managers to provide technical guidance and configurations during the Service Delivery process for IP network technologies
• Conducting tests and commissioning new uCPE and Wireless Backup circuits, documenting results and ensuring production environment readiness
• Recommending improvements to practices and procedures based on field experience and technical expertise in network service delivery
• Troubleshooting complex IP networking and security issues, employing expert knowledge to resolve problems and optimize network performance
• Engaging with customers to educate them on service functionalities, enhancing understanding and satisfaction
• Analyzing and implementing test and acceptance criteria for network elements, ensuring adherence to performance and quality standards
• Coordinating with Engineering and Product Development teams to assess technical requirements, support operations, and contribute to product evolution
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance; able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule as necessary
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
