Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Implementation Manager in Illinois to lead healthcare insurance implementations and coordinate cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

You will gather and analyze data on legislative and financial factors, create clear progress reports, and stay current with regulatory developments affecting product lifecycle management and SBC documentation. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years in healthcare insurance OR 7 years in the field with independent judgment and SBC experience.
• Expertise in health regulatory and legislative processes.
• Expertise of health insurance products and plans.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office.
• Tech-savvy with software applications and cloud tools.

• Implement new or renewing accounts, new legislation, and products across the enterprise


• Work with cross-functional HCSC teams and internal stakeholders to coordinate implementations


• Create communications and implementation artifacts describing progress, issues, and risks


• Manage implementation project activities of low to moderate complexity


• Gather, organize, analyze, and interpret marketing, legislative, financial, and operating data


• Stay informed of best practices and strategic trends in product lifecycle management, sales and account implementation, and legislative developments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years work experience in the healthcare insurance industry OR 7 years' work experience in the healthcare insurance industry or in a position involving independent judgment and initiative, including at least 3 years working with Summary of Benefits & Coverage (SBC) documents


• Expertise in health regulatory and legislative processes


• Expertise of health insurance products and plans


• Advanced computer skills including experience using the MS Office Suite


• Technological savvy with experience working with software applications, internet, OneDrive and websites


• Ability to pick up new technology quickly


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Experience in a deadline-driven environment and completing tasks on time while responding to rapidly changing priorities
