Ten Mile Square Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead (SDET) to guide a quality engineering and test-automation team while advancing CI/CD and AI-assisted tooling on a large financial services platform. This role combines hands-on software engineering with Agile leadership and mentoring across a cloud-based and legacy environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with emphasis on test automation.
• 2+ years in Engineering Team Lead role with hands-on leadership.
• Strong Agile, Scrum, and continuous improvement practices.
• Automation frameworks for distributed systems, APIs, and integrations.
• Proficiency with Claude and AI-assisted software engineering tools.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, and modern architectures.
• Ability to work with legacy systems without deep tech on underlying platforms.
• Clear communication and integrity in cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile team execution, fostering ownership and predictable delivery.
• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and quality practices.
• Define testing strategies across API, integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests.
• Leverage Claude and AI tools to boost productivity and quality.
• Manage test data across complex systems and legacy integrations.
• Support testing, releases, validation, and troubleshooting across modern applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine requirements and plan sprints.
• Improve CI/CD integration and deployment confidence.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with Ten Mile Square teams.
