SDET / QA Automation Tester
Quality Assurance & Compliance | India (Remote/WFH/Noida)

We are currently looking for a talented tester to make a meaningful impact on Alertus, its customers, and the mass emergency notification industry. The SDET / QA Automation Tester will work directly with the development team to understand software operation(s) in addition to designing and executing suitable test plans for reliable code. Our ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail and the ability to catch errors and deficiencies for a critical life safety system

A Day in the Life:

• Perform functional, user experience, user acceptance, and performance testing for our suite of software and mobile products
• Job will consist of 80% automated testing and 20% manual testing
• Create and design test plans and test cases for various features and products
• Execute test plans from specifications
• Clearly isolate, reproduce, and document bugs in pre-production and customer environments
• Manage issue tracking software to maintain a list of known defects
• Work cross-departmentally with client services to report and resolve issues
• Design and implement automation of software testing

Required Skills:

• Experience with Flutter Driver/Selenium/Appium libraries and frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber etc
• Ability to document testing processes for use in technical manuals and/or product support site
• Automation testing - knowledge of creating/maintaining framework and optimized test scripts
• Manual testing- experience in working in Agile environment, SDLC, STLC
• Experience in preparation of Test Plan and Test cases
• Functional testing (Sanity, Blackbox, Whitebox, Regression, Ad hoc)
• Non-functional testing (Stress/Load and Performance testing) using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner
• Experience in Management tool (Jira)
• Experience in automating web and mobile applications (Flutter based)
• Knowledge of programming languages- Java/JS/Python/Dart

Desired Skills:

• Scripting/coding experience on Flutter applications
• Experience in testing of AWS, RestAPIs and Database(SQL/MongoDB)

Education and Experience:

• B.Tech (Computer), M.Tech (Computer), BCA, MCA, Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development or testing
