Epic Games seeks a SDET Manager to lead and grow a team of software development engineers in test focused on Unreal Engine. You will coach engineers, write production code in test frameworks, and own end-to-end test systems and CI integrations.

You will drive test strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels while leveraging AI tools to accelerate development. This role opens to multiple US locations including WA with strong compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams with mentorship and roadmaps.
• Hands-on production code experience in C++ and at least one of C#, Python, or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of game engines; Unreal Engine 5 is preferred.
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI at scale, and test strategy across levels.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow a team of SDETs building automated test coverage for Unreal Engine.
• Write and ship production code in test frameworks, tools, and CI integrations; own end-to-end systems.
• Define the test roadmap from unit to end-to-end tests for editor and runtime.
• Extend frameworks across low-level, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Automate manual tests and maintain deterministic tests across machines.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to speed up tooling, test authoring, and failure analysis.
• Increase visibility into test coverage and contribute to SDET strategy.
