Job summary

Greenlight is hiring a Software Development Engineer In Test II focused on quality and automation. You will define testing strategy, build automated test scripts, and implement AI-assisted test case generation for web, API, and mobile across the deployment pipelines.

You’ll collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure critical features are well-tested, with self-healing automation and scalable frameworks. Flexible WFH and in-office options are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
• Experience building and using mobile and web automation with Appium and Cypress.
• Experience with API automation frameworks like Rest Assured and Kotest.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based testing or intelligent automation is a plus.
• Experience with self-healing automation for mobile, web and API testing.
• Ability to communicate and plan automation with development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for large systems.
• Experience with CI/CD integrations (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Deep understanding of testing APIs and microservices.
• Ability to triage bugs to root cause.

Responsibilities

• Define quality engineering scope and automate test scripts across web, API, and mobile.
• Select the best automation framework to enable developers to own testing features.
• Build agent-driven test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Develop AI agents for test case generation from product specs and user flows.
• Implement self-healing automation to improve test stability and reduce maintenance.
• Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance across components.
• Extend tests to automated build tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to focus on critical features.
