Job summary

LogicGate is seeking a Software Engineer: Test (SDET) to build and scale automated testing frameworks for the Risk Cloud platform. You will embed AI-driven tooling across test authoring, regression analysis, and coverage expansion to shorten delivery cycles while increasing precision.

You'll design robust automation suites, validate backend APIs, and debug distributed systems by reading logs and Datadog data.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software test automation or backend engineering in SaaS.
• Strong TypeScript scripting and automated testing experience.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and code generation.
• Familiarity with Fowler's Testing Pyramid and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and end-to-end suites.
• Validate backend APIs and integration layers following the testing pyramid.
• Analyze logs and use Datadog to diagnose failures.
• Collaborate with product, developers, QA and DevOps in Agile sprints.
• Create runbooks and technical documentation to support QA practices.
