Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Quality Engineering team. You will design automated test strategies, build robust test frameworks, and drive GenAI-assisted test development across microservices powering customer support platforms.

You'll collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable test coverage and maximize quality across our CRM and support services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SDET experience required.
• Strong OO programming and design skills in Java or Python.
• Experience using GenAI to automate UI and non-UI tests for user-facing apps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, PMs, and QA engineers to define test strategies, including GenAI-driven flows.
• Drive test planning, identify automation opportunities, ensure coverage across the system.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites with GenAI augmentation.
• Create and execute test cases from requirements and specs; report defects promptly with GenAI-assisted data.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and leverage GenAI for failure analysis.
• Lead quality efforts end-to-end and advocate for GenAI-augmented quality across the SDLC.
