Job summary

Apple is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain automation tests for Mail, Messages, FaceTime, and other Apple apps across iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS and tvOS. You will work with multiple engineering teams to craft robust tests, review code, and advocate testable development practices, while triaging results and driving issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Experience developing in Python, Java, Swift, C/C++ or Objective-C.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and tools like git.
• Experience in testing and automating APIs, UIs and Native Applications for Mobile/Desktop.
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation test framework and tests for new features across platforms.
• Streamline automated test reporting via various communications channels.
• Perform root cause analysis on bugs found via automation.
• Investigate issues blocking automated runs and resolve promptly.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of the test infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve quality goals.
