Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for Growth and Onboarding. You will design, develop, test, and deploy components of a new platform to record the learning experiences of Amazon employees.

The role requires strong distributed systems background, collaboration with data scientists and education experts, and a track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Base pay is complemented by Amazon benefits and RSUs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupation
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related field
• Experience programming with at least one software language

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy components for a new platform for recording the learning experience of Amazon employees
• Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, data scientists, and learning scientists
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle including design, documentation, testing, and operations
