Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Growth and Onboarding team to design, build, test, and deploy components for a new learning-platform. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, delivering scalable features for employee growth from Day 1.

You will work with data engineers, data scientists, and education scientists to push the boundaries of onboarding tools, aiming to raise impact and speed across Amazonians worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy components for a new onboarding platform.
• Set a high bar across the software lifecycle including design, documentation, testing, and operations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and learning scientists.
