Job summary

AWS Event Technology Team is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE II) to shape AI-powered event experiences for hundreds of thousands of attendees. You’ll own end-to-end delivery across mobile frontend and serverless backend, aligning with product and design teams to improve accuracy and performance at scale.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to runbooks, and help maintain high availability during peak events such as re:Invent, leveraging Bedrock and orchestration patterns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on systems.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupational experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a multi-agent conversational AI system powered by Amazon Bedrock.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery across the stack: React Native frontend, serverless backend, and LLM orchestration.
• Architect real-time streaming protocols for sub-second responses and data-driven AI feedback systems.
