Amazon Robotics’ Autonomous Mobility team seeks a talented SDE to join the ARC group in North Reading, MA. You will work on software that enables thousands of autonomous mobile robots to navigate safely around humans and vehicles, focusing on multi-robot routing, coordination, and high-performance systems.

We value hands-on developers with experience in autonomous navigation, motion planning, and simulation, collaborating with top scientists and engineers to solve real-world problems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years in design or architecture of systems
• 1+ years in building large-scale distributed software
• 1+ years of OO design experience
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance, scalable software for autonomous routing and coordination
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on multi-robot route planning
• Build and maintain reliable software systems for AMRs in dynamic environments
