The Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility team develops software that powers Proteus, Amazon Robotics’ first fully-autonomous mobile warehouse robot. We are growing and seek a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated SDM to lead our Autonomous Routing and Coordination (ARC) team in North Reading, MA. You will lead a team of scientists and engineers developing state‑of‑the‑art software and algorithms for multi‑robot route planning and coordination. The systems you build will enable fleets of 1000s of AMRs to safely, reliably, and efficiently navigate through dynamic environments in the presence of humans and other vehicles. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, hands‑on manager with a track record of leading science and engineering teams to build high‑performance, scalable, and reliable systems that solve real‑world problems. Experience in autonomous navigation, motion planning, multi‑agent planning, control systems, and simulation is strongly desired.

The base salary range for this position is $184,900.00 - $250,200.00 USD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
