Job summary

Amazon Corporate Network Engineering is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join our Core Engineering team. You will design, deploy, and sustain next-generation SDWAN/edge networking using cloud-based technologies across 500+ remote offices and multiple AWS regions, while automating deployments and contributing to network standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems.
• 4+ years experience in a technical on-call capacity, responding to customer impacting events, mitigating and root cause analysis of those events.
• 1+ years of automation via Bash/shell scripting and Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Design the next generation of SDWAN/Edge network using Cloud based technologies to serve 500+ remote offices.
• Automate deployment of network devices gateways using infrastructure as code across all network fabrics.
