Job summary

Black Hills Special Services Cooperative (BHSSC) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented SD LIFT Project Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the federally funded SD LIFT project. This role works closely with the Project Director and staff to coordinate activities, monitor budgets, and ensure grant goals and deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate manages multiple priorities, collaborates with partners, and maintains project systems.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in project management or project coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff and partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project operations and activities to align with grant goals and timelines.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial reports with fiscal staff oversight.
• Prepare and submit federal grant reports including performance and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and organizational policies.
• Maintain project tracking systems for activities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Project Director to set priorities and address challenges.
• Coordinate data collection, performance monitoring, and evaluation with internal/external partners.
• Maintain communication with staff, partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Organize grant documentation, budgets, contracts, and audit records.
• Coordinate contracts, agreements, and purchased services with required documentation.
