ClearBridge Technology Group is seeking four Scrum Masters for an initial 12‑month contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, located in Gaithersburg, MD; Egg Harbor Township, NJ; or Eagan, MN.

Responsibilities include serving as Scrum Master for Agile teams and supporting cloud-native microservices development. The position requires extensive experience in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, SAFe, and frontend technologies, plus Linux and Git proficiency.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience with a bachelors degree.
• 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing and reviewing production Java applications.
• 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master on SAFe Agile teams in an enterprise environment.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs (JSON, XML, XSD).
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Security experience.
• Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Front end development with React/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Version control with Git.
• IDE experience: IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove impediments for delivery of sprint and PI outcomes.
• Spend ~50% time supporting design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of cloud-native microservices.
• Guide teams through SAFe cadence (PI planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, inspect-adapt).

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 4 Scrum Masters for initial 12 month contracts. This is a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote with candidates being located in either Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Township, NJ or Eagan, MN. The Scrum Masters will spend approximately 50% of their time serving as a Scrum Master for an Agile Development team, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments and helping to deliver predictable sprint and PI outcomes and 50% of their time supporting the design, development, testing, debugging, deployment and maintenance of production cloud-native microservices. They will also guide various teams through SAFe cadence (PI planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, inspect-and-adapt workshops, etc.).

Required Skills:

• At least 8 years of experience with a bachelors degree.
• 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing and reviewing production Java applications.
• 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on SAFe Agile teams within an enterprise production environment.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs to include, JSON, XML and XSD.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Experience with Unit Testing, specifically Junit and Mockito.
• Front End development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML and / or CSS.
• Experience working within a Linux environment.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.li>
• Experience with common development tools and IDEs to include, IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code, etc.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), CSM or PSM certification.
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud Architectures, data mesh pattern and / or cloud-native platform services.
• Docker and / or Kubernetes experience.
