Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to support a mission-critical DoW modernization program from Reston, VA, with remote locations across the United States. The role centers on agile facilitation, delivery coordination, and milestone tracking to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Scrum Master roles on federal programs, strong Jira/Confluence expertise, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead supporting Agile software development teams.
• Experience supporting Federal government programs with phase-gated acceptance requirements.
• Expert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery coordination, tracking, and documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and directly with technical teams and program stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across modernization and sustainment workstreams.
• Maintain the integrated program schedule, track milestone progress, and monitor readiness for phase-exit reviews and acceptance.
• Manage and maintain the issue register in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and follow-through.
• Coordinate milestone reports and monthly program status reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
• Facilitate clear communication of delivery progress, milestones, and issues across program stakeholders.

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

This program focuses on modernizing and simplifying access across a portfolio of production applications by establishing a unified sign-on experience, a shared work surface, and a repeatable approach for integrating applications into a common platform. The team will simultaneously sustain existing applications while advancing modernization efforts.

The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile delivery across modernization and sustainment workstreams, coordinate sprint activities, maintain program schedules, track milestones, and help ensure teams remain aligned with customer expectations and delivery commitments.

Agile Facilitation & Sprint Management

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across modernization and sustainment workstreams.
• Maintain a consistent sprint demonstration cadence, ensuring teams are prepared to showcase progress and deliverables to the customer.

Delivery Coordination & Milestone Tracking

• Maintain the integrated program schedule, track milestone progress, and monitor readiness for phase-exit reviews and acceptance.
• Manage and maintain the issue register in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and follow-through.
• Program Reporting & Communication
• Coordinate milestone reports and monthly program status reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
• Facilitate clear communication of delivery progress, milestones, and issues across program stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Work Location and Schedule

• Location: Hybrid. Concept Solutions' Reston, VA headquarters and approved remote locations within the United States, with on-site work at Government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required. Government-furnished equipment is used for all access to Government environments.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Eastern. The program follows two-week sprints, including a customer demonstration each sprint.
• Travel: 0–10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Security Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.
• Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base salary, depending on experience.

This position is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated start in October 2026.
