Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive delivery across cross-functional teams supporting ACWS capabilities. The role requires coordinating with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Government stakeholders to sustain predictable delivery.

A strong Scrum/SAFe background and a current Active Secret clearance are essential. Experience with Jira, metrics, and program-level delivery reporting will enable visibility for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Scrum Master or related roles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and dependencies.
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and Agile metrics.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance.
• CSM/SSM/PSM I or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies for predictable delivery.
• Manage impediments, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional coordination.
• Support product owners with backlog refinement and release planning.
• Develop and maintain delivery metrics and Jira dashboards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of ACWS capabilities.

Scrum Master

Summary: Facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, manages dependencies, tracks sprint commitments and delivery metrics, and supports consistent Scrum practices that help teams deliver ACWS capabilities predictably and efficiently.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Release Train team member, Agile Facilitator, or Delivery Lead supporting software development teams.
• Experience facilitating planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and dependencies
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Agile metrics, team velocity, dependency management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Government stakeholders.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM),Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) or equivalent
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army, DoD, federal acquisition, contracting, financial, or other mission enterprise systems.
• Ability to coach teams on Agile practices, facilitate continuous improvement, and promote predictable delivery across cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Working knowledge of Appian, DevSecOps, cloud-hosted, low-code/no-code, or modernization delivery environments

• Manage impediments, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional coordination to maintain delivery momentum.
• Support Product Owners and stakeholders with backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and execution readiness.
• Promote Agile best practices, team effectiveness, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery outcomes
• Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, sprint metrics, release status reports, dependency tracking, and program-level delivery metrics to support stakeholder visibility and decision-making.

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$125,000 - $135,000 USD
