Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst in New Jersey to translate stakeholder needs into backlog items, acceptance criteria, and actionable implementation guidance to support modernization, testing and delivery decisions.

In this role you will elicit and document ACWS requirements, convert needs into backlog-ready stories, support UAT planning, maintain traceability, and identify process improvements. A DoD background and security clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or Requirements Analyst supporting enterprise business systems.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition, contracting, procurement, financial, and business processes, including translating mission and functional requirements into system capabilities.
• Active Secret clearance
• Comp Tia Security+ certification
• Experience translating mission requirements into system capabilities.

Business Analyst

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or Requirements Analyst supporting enterprise business systems.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition, contracting, procurement, financial, and business processes, including experience translating mission and functional requirements into system capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled business capabilities, workflow automation, decision support, and analytics use cases
• Comp Tia Security+ certification
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army, DoD, acquisition, contracting, financial, or mission enterprise systems.
• SAFe, Agile, Business Analysis, Product Owner/Product Manager, or ITIL certification preferred.
• Experience with Appian, LC/NC platforms, Jira, and enterprise workflow systems.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical use cases for requirements analysis and user support

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$115,000 - $125,000 USD
