Job summary

DSA Inc. in Washington DC area seeks a Software Developer to design, implement, test, and modernize secure software components and services. You will support agile delivery, contribute to API development, and work with AWS/Kubernetes environments; a Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities include implementing user stories, addressing defects, unit testing, and collaborating with architects, testers, and DevSecOps. Experience with DoD / Army enterprise systems and Appian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 4+ years developing enterprise software with Java and/or .NET, APIs, databases or web services.
• Industry cert: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery including user stories, sprints, testing and releases.
• Experience with AWS, containerized environments, Kubernetes, API development and relational databases.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled developer productivity, code analysis, or automation tools.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.

Software Developer Summary: Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and modernizes software capabilities, integrations, APIs, services, and application components while supporting secure Agile delivery, defect resolution, and production sustainment.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Army, DoD, ACWS, VCE, contracting, financial, or federal enterprise systems.
• Experience with Appian integrations, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, or legacy modernization.
• Appian Certification preferred

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$130,000 - $140,000 USD
