Job summary

DSA is seeking a Scrum Master in the United States (New Jersey) to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and enable predictable ACWS delivery. The role requires strong collaboration with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Testers, and government stakeholders, plus active security clearance.

The successful candidate will guide teams through SAFe and Scrum practices, track metrics, and develop Jira dashboards to support program-level delivery visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, PM, or related field.
• 5+ years as Scrum Master/Agile Leader supporting software teams.
• Experience facilitating planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, dependencies.
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Agile metrics, team velocity, dependency management.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, Gov stakeholders.
• CSM, SSM, PSM I or equivalent certification.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage impediments, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional coordination to maintain momentum.
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, execution readiness.
• Promote Agile best practices, team effectiveness, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, sprint metrics, release status reports, dependency tracking.

Scrum Master Summary:

Facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, manages dependencies, tracks sprint commitments and delivery metrics, and supports consistent Scrum practices that help teams deliver ACWS capabilities predictably and efficiently.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Release Train team member, Agile Facilitator, or Delivery Lead supporting software development teams.
• Experience facilitating planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and dependencies
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Agile metrics, team velocity, dependency management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Government stakeholders.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM),Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) or equivalent
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army, DoD, federal acquisition, contracting, financial, or other mission enterprise systems.
• Ability to coach teams on Agile practices, facilitate continuous improvement, and promote predictable delivery across cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Working knowledge of Appian, DevSecOps, cloud-hosted, low-code/no-code, or modernization delivery environments

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$125,000 - $135,000 USD
