Qualifications

  • Agile expertise: experience with Scrum, Kanban, XP or Lean approaches
  • Soft skills: mentoring, coaching, collaboration, communication, facilitation, conflict management, and team building

Job description

Role Overview

The Scrum Master has full responsibility for coaching and facilitating the work of cross-functional Agile teams. They create stable, self-organized teams with a clear and engaging direction, and help identify and resolve impediments. The Scrum Master is a servant-leader who assesses teams’ needs and provides a suitable Agile approach, as well as Agile consultation services to customers or management upon request.

Main Responsibilities
  • Remove impediments (organizational, work-environmental, or mindset-related) to protect team progress
  • Coach the team in self-organization, cross-functionality, and Agile methodologies
  • Help the team create high-value and high-quality products
  • Create an open-minded working environment and inspire continuous improvement in cooperation
  • Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed
  • Consult the Product Owner in arranging the Product Backlog to maximize value
  • Lead and coach respective teams in Scrum adoption
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters
