Job summary

Qualifications

  • PMP and Certified Scrum Master certifications required.
  • Experience leading Agile teams and delivering technology projects.

  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Agile delivery, backlog management, metrics, and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drives consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including project plans, release plans, resource allocation, and management of project risks, scope, schedule, and delivery of value.
  • Coordinates Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Refinement, and Release Planning.
  • Tracks and communicates project's progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, stakeholders, and management.
  • Establishes an environment where the teams can be effective and helps removing obstacles.
  • Protects the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
  • Ensures a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team.
  • Tracks and reports team velocity and other project metrics.
  • Promotes continuous improvement and helps teams to increase productivity.
  • Helps Product Owner and team with Product backlog management.
  • Ensures the teams are practicing core Agile principles.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Role Summary: We are seeking for a Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager for our client. The candidate is responsible for leading Agile teams through the successful delivery of technology projects by driving end-to-end project execution, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles and organizational project management standards. This role partners closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to manage project scope, schedules, risks, resources, and delivery while fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, along with expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Agile delivery, backlog management, project metrics, and team performance. PMP and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are required, with SAFe certification and experience serving as a strong advantage.
