Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a mid- to senior-level software engineer to develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Python in support of critical government programs. You will design, build, test, and deploy solutions in a cloud-based AWS environment and collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile setting to deliver high-quality capabilities.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and onsite work at Dulles, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite daily in Dulles, VA.
• Mid-level candidates: 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Senior candidates: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting applications in Kubernetes environments; exposure to AWS cloud technologies, Java, Ruby, or networking concepts is a plus.
