Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a manufacturing/assembly specialist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on robot assembly and integration. You will build, test, and refine electro-mechanical assemblies while routing and servicing cabling and harnesses to ensure high reliability.

You will also design fixtures, fabricate parts as needed, and document workflows, supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle with internal engineering feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical/assembly experience in automotive, marine, aerospace, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively.
• Experience reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Familiarity with standard fabrication processes and hand/power tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists on robot assembly and integration.
• Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Route, install, and service high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses.
• Design, prototype, and build manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build quality and test efficiency.
• Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) components as needed.
• Support all phases of the manufacturing lifecycle, providing direct technical feedback to engineering.
• Assist in developing, documenting, and optimizing assembly and build workflows.
• Support the organization, maintenance, and flow of on-site manufacturing areas.
• Provide potential offshore travel support for field operations and testing as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant mechanical/assembly experience (automotive, marine, aerospace, or industrial equipment).
• Familiarity with standard fabrication processes, basic hand and power tools, and plastic/metal component manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, professionally, and cross-functionally.
• Solid foundational understanding of hardware manufacturing life cycles.
• Demonstrated experience working from technical documentation, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
