Job summary

Vonachen Group in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Scrubber Operator for a full-time 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 5pm–1:30am). Wage listed is $19.48 per hour, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD and LTD, plus daily pay options.

The role requires staying on top of floor cleaning, equipment maintenance and safety compliance while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and scrub factory floors with ride-on sweeper/scrubber; clean spills per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment daily.
• Inform management immediately of potential safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs.

The Scrubber Operator is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Sweep and scrub the factory floors with a ride on sweeper/scrubber. Clean up reported spills according to guidelines, generally water and oil.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment daily.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
• Do daily inspections of the equipment and report any maintenance that needs to be done.
