Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain high levels of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The role supports a safe environment and requires energetic, friendly individuals who can work with diverse teams.

The position is full-time on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4pm-12am) with benefits including medical, vision, dental, life, 401(k) and short/long-term disability, plus Daily Pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer-oriented and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and restroom cleaning per building protocols.
• Stock and organize janitor supply rooms.
• Inform management of safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Monitor security by locking doors after hours.
• Perform other duties and trainings as assigned by supervisor.

Job Skills / Requirements

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
