Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking an OB Certified Surgical Technologist/Technician to provide support in labor and delivery services. This role requires managing surgical instruments, ensuring sterilization, and assisting during surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Surgical Technologist Program, and hold relevant certifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist Program.
• National Board Certification (NBSTSA) or NCCT certification required.
• Medical Technician License from the State of New Hampshire unless another NH state license is held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and sterile fields.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments.
• Maintain operating rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

BLS Certification

National Board Certification (NBSTSA) or NCCT

Education

Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist Program

Associate's degree preferred

Medical Technician License from the State of New Hampshire
