Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD is hiring an experienced Scrub Tech I (non-certified) for our Labor and Delivery Department. You will assist the surgical team, pass instruments, prepare the OR, sterilize supplies, and support the surgical team as needed to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications include high school or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program with eligibility for certification, and OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible.
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgical team by providing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Prepare the Operation Room with necessary supplies.
• Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies.
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed.
• Assist in ordering and restocking OR supplies and instruments.
