Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring Screed & Roller Operators for our Mississippi operations in Natchez. The role involves operating screed and paving equipment, working in a team, and maintaining a safe work site in accordance with policies.

Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED, with construction experience preferred. The position requires flexibility to travel, work nights and weekends, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate screed and various paving equipment (roller, paver, tractor, etc.)
• Work in a team environment with co-workers and managers
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations
• Inspect equipment and report problems to supervisor
• Assist with duties such as shoveling, raking, and moving materials
• Signal equipment operators to ensure proper alignment and movement
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety requirements
• Be willing to travel, work nights/weekends, and overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
