Job summary

CRH Mississippi, Inc. in Natchez, MS is seeking a dependable team member to join the paving crew. You will help maintain a safe work environment and assist with tasks on construction sites, including operating paving equipment and aiding crew members.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is willing to travel, and can work nights and weekends when required. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment following safety policies and procedures.
• Operate paving equipment including paver, roller, tractor.
• Assist crew with duties such as shoveling, raking and wheelbarrow.
• Signal operators to align and move materials.
• Follow manager's directions for daily tasks and expectations.
• May operate small power tools like jack hammer.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials.
• Wear PPE as required by OSHA/MSHA.
• Be willing to travel and work nights and weekends when necessary.
