APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a capable Equipment and Machine Operator to join our team in Mississippi. You will safely operate heavy equipment used in road construction, support co-workers, and follow Foreman directions to ensure project success.

The role requires adherence to OSHA/MSHA regulations, pre-employment checks, and willingness to travel or work nights/weekends when needed. Competitive benefits and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in the construction field and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Report problems to the Foreman and follow directions.
• Maintain safe work environment and wear PPE as required.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections and assist in training less-experienced staff.
• Perform general labor duties and other duties as assigned.
