Job summary

Plum Market West Bloomfield is seeking a Line Cook to handle daily production in the Prepared Foods Department, including showcase, cold bar, grab & go, and catering. This role requires strong culinary skills, a passion for high-quality, scratch-made food, and strict adherence to food safety and cleanliness.

The Production Cook contributes to a positive, team-driven kitchen culture and ensures all products meet Plum Market’s quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for scratch cooking with natural, organic ingredients.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guides.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for showcase, cold bar, catering, and grab & go.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
• Ensure correct temperatures and portioning for all prepared items.
• Communicate production needs to leadership during peak times.
• Assist teammates to maintain kitchen flow and service quality.
