Job summary

Benchmark Behavioral Health System, Inc. is hiring a Cook/Chef (Scratch Cafeteria) to prepare and serve meals for residents and staff in a full-time role.

Shifts run 9:30am–7:30pm on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a base pay of $16.00–$20.00 per hour plus $2.00–$4.00 per hour in shift differential, totaling $16.00–$24.00 per hour. Annual tuition reimbursement of $3,000, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage from day 31, paid time off, holiday pay, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Experience preparing appealing and healthy meals from scratch.
• Energetic, creative and driven to provide a superior food experience.
• Experience working in a cafeteria-style or similar organization is helpful but not required.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving scratch made meals to our residents and staff.
• Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients.
• We serve about 120 people 3 times a day / 365 days a year.
• Checking in food orders, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temp logs, etc.
