Job summary

Benchmark Behavioral Health seeks a Cook/Chef for our scratch cafeteria. This full-time role runs four 10-hour shifts from 9:30am to 7:30pm on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with competitive pay and shift differentials.

You will prepare and serve scratch-made meals for residents and staff, monitor temperatures, keep the kitchen clean, and comply with health department guidelines. Experience cooking from scratch and a food-handler certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing appealing and healthy meals from scratch.
• Energetic, creative and driven to provide a superior food experience.
• Experience working in a cafeteria-style or similar organization is helpful but not required.
• Food Handler Certification.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving scratch made meals to our residents and staff.
• Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients.
• We serve about 120 people 3 times a day / 365 days a year.
• Checking in food orders, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temp logs.
• Compliance with all regulatory and health department guidelines.
