Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Scraper Operator for a long-term project in Waddell, AZ. You will operate heavy equipment, perform pre-shift checks, and help complete civil utilities and roadway work for a two-year duration.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of scraper experience, preferably in heavy civil/road construction, and be willing to work overtime. Pre-employment drug testing and DOE apply. Compensation is $29–$34 per hour, with a 40+ hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in the industrial/construction industry
• Able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely including scrapers and related machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk around
• Maintain positive relationships on the crew and produce quality work
• Identify opportunities for improvement and share knowledge
