Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Loader Operator for a roughly two-year heavy civil project in Arizona. Candidates must have at least 5 years of heavy equipment experience, be able to read drawings, and communicate clearly with the crew.

Overtime may be required; pre-employment drug testing is mandatory; wage is $30-$38 per hour, depending on experience. You will operate and maintain loaders and related equipment, perform pre-shift checks, and work to ensure safety and quality on roadway,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment experience preferred in heavy civil/road construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, safety and quality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication with crew and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates heavy equipment (loaders, backhoes, graders, etc.).
• Perform pre-shift maintenance and walk-around checks.
• Maintain safe, productive work by following plans and specs and coordinating with the crew.
• Eliminate waste and seek improvements in methods and processes.
