Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment preferred.
• 1+ years experience operating heavy equipment in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 627 Scraper safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate with crew and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships to align with project deadlines.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators and mentor others.
• Other duties as assigned.
