Qualifications

• Math and problem solving skills, basic negotiation skills, attention to detail, and basic typing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade incoming loads and operate the in-bound scale.
• Direct customers to unloading areas and compute ticket totals for payment.
• Explain pricing and material types to customers and maintain account contacts for service.
• Coordinate with office staff to document purchasing transactions.
• Inspect scale accuracy and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
