Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an Inspector to observe and verify the delivery of material, ensuring conformance to quality, quantity, and Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, receiving and stockpiling materials, and maintaining the outdoor yard.

You will inspect incoming loads for acceptable materials, identify non-conforming items, guide truck traffic, communicate with weighmaster and machine operator, and follow OSHA procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality transfer.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming loads for acceptable and non-acceptable materials.
• Identify non-conforming items and deduct weight as needed.
• Direct semi-trucks in and out of the yard and maintain traffic flow.
• Communicate clearly with weighmaster and machine operator for each load.
• Sort materials for processing and move items to storage areas daily.
• Assist with unloading materials for customers one at a time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area daily.
• Comply with safety guidelines and company/OSHA procedures.
