Job summary

SA Recycling in the United States seeks a Scrap Inspector to be the first contact for customers unloading scrap at the yard. You will inspect loads for quality and quantity, document details, and direct traffic to the correct collection sites in a safe, orderly manner.

This outdoor role requires working in all weather, operating a tablet, and communicating clearly. We offer full-time employment with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of general labor in scrap metal or construction preferred.
• Ability to use a computer tablet.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Pass background check and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming loads for acceptable and non-acceptable materials.
• Direct customer traffic to proper sites in the yard.
• Maintain knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Assist with unloading materials and yard organization.
• Follow SA Recycling safety and environmental standards.
