Job summary

SA Recycling in Wooster, Ohio is looking for a dedicated Inspector to join their team. As an Inspector, you will directly interact with customers bringing scrap material into the yard, inspecting and documenting their loads, and directing traffic to appropriate collection sites.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, previous general labor experience, and the ability to use a computer tablet. This full-time position comes with competitive benefits including medical insurance, paid time off, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• 1-year previous general labor experience in the scrap metal or construction industries preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document customer loads and direct traffic to collection sites.
• Identify and grade inbound scrap and reject unacceptable items.
• Input customer and scrap information into the database.
• Observe all customer drop-offs for unacceptable items.

Skills

Ability to use a computer tablet

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Education

High School diploma or GED Certification
