Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of small equipment operation experience in scrap metal, construction, or manufacturing.
• Comfortable safely operating forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment.
• Willing to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand or walk up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual preferred; candidates within 50 miles of the location preferred.
• Must pass hair drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other small equipment.
• Load scrap material onto shredder feed conveyors and move material throughout the yard.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects to your supervisor.
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized; assist with general labor as needed.
• Communicate with teammates via radio for traffic coordination and updates.
• Cross-train in other positions and help out wherever the team needs you.
