Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of small equipment operation experience.
• Comfortable operating forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment safely.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Dependable with good punctuality and ability to work overtime as needed.
• Able to stand/walk up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and related machines to move materials.
• Load scrap material onto shredder feed conveyors and move piles in the yard.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and safety; follow OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with teammates by radio for updates and safety.
