Trademark Metals Recycling is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to move heavy scrap metal, load trucks and railcars, and keep the yard running smoothly. Qualified candidates will operate cranes, loaders, and related machinery with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience, preferably in scrap metal, construction, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with cranes, loaders, or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of operating principles, hazards and safety precautions.
• Mechanically inclined and able to spot issues to keep equipment running.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including cranes and loaders safely and efficiently.
• Load scrap material onto shredder feed conveyors and move material throughout the yard.
• Load trucks and railcars and assist in yard organization.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and communicate with teammates via radio.
• Cross-train in other positions and support teammates as needed.
