Qualifications

• 1-year previous general labor experience in the scrap metal or construction industries preferred.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned.
• Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

Responsibilities

• Unload, inspect, and process scrap metal.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Operate equipment like forklifts and skid steers.
• Identify and grade acceptable material.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
