Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a Laborer to join our outdoor scrap yard team in Georgia. The role involves unloading, sorting, and handling metal scrap, plus assisting with equipment maintenance and housekeeping in a outdoor setting.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, follow directions, and perform basic math. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or foreign education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets and load/unload materials.
• Sort and handle materials, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
• Unpack boxes and separate packaging materials.
• Disassemble small equipment and remove bolts or parts.
• Operate yard equipment and assist with machinery maintenance.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
• Direct traffic of yard vehicles and ensure safety.
• Organize materials to maximize space efficiency.
• Comply with safety, health and environmental policies.
