The role requires working outdoors in varied weather, performing daily equipment inspections, ensuring safety, and complying with company and regulatory standards. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; HS diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in operating heavy equipment cranes such as Caterpillar and Sennebogen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hydraulic grapple or magnetic crane to lift, sort, load or unload scrap metal and debris.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment and report defects to supervisor.
• Determine load weights and verify against lifting capacities to prevent overloads.
• Comply with SA Recycling safety, health, and environmental rules and procedures.
