Job summary

Steel Dynamics is seeking a Scrap Inspector to ensure quality scrap for our mill. The role includes scrap inspection, testing of scrap chemistry, and strict adherence to safety and work procedures on site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to work in extreme weather, and possess strong communication skills plus proficient computer use (Excel/Word). The position involves coordinating with on-site staff and contractors to maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and walk several miles daily.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding computer skills including Excel and Word.
